I've forgotten how to change the photos along the header.  A's obviously older by now and we've multiplied by one more child.

Maybe I'll stick to facebook.

David is finally coming home again.  I have no idea how married couples survive a long separation.  It must truly be a testament to how much love, trust, and patience there is between a couple. 

neither david nor I are phone people, so trying to keep a conversation going over the phone is trying. 

Our morning Conversation always starts out as,

A: Hey.

D: Hey.  What's going on?

A: Nothing.  I just wanted to see what's up.

D: Baby, can I call you back?  I've got a client here.

A: Okay, bye.

Our late afternoon or evening conversations,

A: Hey.  It's me.

D:. Hey Honey.  What's up?

A: Nothing.  Busy?

D:  No, just looking at inventory.

A: Oh, what'd you have for lunch.

D: Ramen.

A:  Again? 

Blah, blah, blah... boring.

Thank God, he's coming home.

I got the bug again to change my hair since my bad hair cut was growing out and my roots were terrible.  I chose a dark burgundy color but not realizing that my hair would super absorb it, it turned, as wendy called it, Crayola Purple.  I would be Barney had I worn a purple sweatsuit.

Alivia kept telling me that I had purple hair, a huge compliment since purple is one of her two fav colors.

It probably didn't help my self-esteem that we went to The Chicago Botanic Gardens on a bright sunny Saturday.  We did find another woman who dyed her hair crazy white.  We'd be quite a pair. 

I think my problem stems from not wanting to spend money on hair.  I'm a Box Dye Job junkie.  I admit it.  I also love the Hair Cuttery and Great Clips.  David loves to say that he and I get haircuts over on Lawrence Ave from the Mexican Lady who charges $5.... but I do get the best compliments from her work.

BoRics, on the other hand, is too ghetto.  I do have standards.

Okay, so my loser tenants bounced their SECOND rent check this month after being late.  Who the heck bounces two rent checks in one month????

They have actually been on time once on payment and have bounced two other checks.

They have no shame.  Their daughter actually dared us to evict them.  SHAMELESS!! 

Plus they brought two dogs, breaking their lease agreement.  I can't even begin to describe the filth and mess they live in.  Disgusting.

Don't rent to a Korean couple (our parents' age) with a daughter named Janet.  Ask me and I'll give you all their specifics.  Like, last name, lee. 

We've started the hunt for an eviction lawyer.. Late, I know.  We were too nice- never again.

The losers who are renting our townhouse in Northbrook have terminated their lease early, so if you or anyone you know need a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath townhouse, please let me know!!!

Two fun notes...

1.  Alivia has adopted a GIANT beatle bug called the Hercules beatle.  Look it up on google.  It is the largest beatle in North America... for real, this one belongs in the musuem.  Ours is as large as our hand.  David found it at work and brought it home for her.

She sleeps with it next to her bed at night. 

I love it.. she wears ribbons in her hair, loves princesses, and always has a coordinated purse with her but has scabbed knees, loves strange bugs, and not in the least bit girly. 

2.  We recently took pics at the Picture People in Raleigh, and we were asked to be Picture People Models and have our pics hung at the store.  Neato.
